There have been many rumours circulating around Les Robinsons Future with the Stags in recent weeks. We can confirm that Robbo will be leaving Field Mill this week and probably looking to the conference for a new club, where he could meet old team mates Dave Kelly and Scott Sellars who are both looking at clubs. Les has left the club after two years good service. Robbo's name was circulated at the end of the season along with striker Shayne Bradley in a bid to tighten the belt on the finances following the ITV Digital Dispute. We all wish Les all the very best for the future and will be keeping you up to date with his career moves. ---------- Robinson leaves Mansfield Ananova.co.uk, 15 July 2002 Les Robinson has left Mansfield Town after being placed on transfer list. The 35-year-old defender follows Scott Sellars and Dave Kelly, who have both left the Stags recently, following the collapse of the ITV Digital deal. A club spokesman said: "Les was a respected member of the team, he just didn't fit in with the future plans of the club, and when he was transfer listed he took the decision to leave." |
