No move on new manager
CHAD website, 24 October 2005

THERE is still no sign of a new full-time manager appointment at Field Mill.
Stags' second successive 4-0 home League win boosted caretaker boss Peter Shirtliff's hopes as Stags rocketed off bottom spot and out of the relegation zone.
However, chairman Keith Haslam said: "I will be sitting down with Peter Shirtliff to discuss a few things but that is between me and him at the moment.
"Things are progressing and Peter is doing himself no harm at the moment.
"I do want to move the situation on soon and he is OK with the ways things are at the moment.
"I know we are going to need some decisions very shortly. But the timing has to be right and I won't give a timescale as people try to pin you down to it."
