Allen set for Stags talks
Teamtalk, 20 June 2002
Grimsby Town striker Bradley Allen is set to have talks with The Stags when he returns from a family holiday next week.
The 30-year-old striker will be out of contract at Blundell Park at the end of the month and is looking to get fixed up with a two-year deal.
The former QPR and Charlton Athletic striker turned down the chance to go to Bristol Rovers last month and there is still a chance that he may be offered a deal that will see him stay at Grimsby.
However, with the club's finances tight, Grimsby boss Paul Groves will have to juggle the figures around before he can offer Allen any sort of new contract.
