Gannon gets Chester role
by Peter ORourke - created on 2 May 2005 http://www.skysports.com New Chester boss Keith Curle has appointed John Gannon onto his coaching staff. Former Sheffield United star Gannon was Curle's assistant at Mansfield. The 38-year-old will share the roles of assistant manager and first-team coach with David Bell, who was Chester's caretaker manager after Ian Rush's resignation. Curle is confident that both men will be able to share the roles. "They'll have the same responsibility," said Curle. "David Bell is a well respected coach at the club and he gives us that continuity. "I've had a few meetings with David already and he's open and honest, like myself, so I think it will work." |
