Palmer has begun to draw up plans for next season.

"We have already decided to offer Adam Rundle a deal as well as the Kingstonian midfielder Giles Coke.
"Giles is only 18 but playing in a man's league. He is physically fit and strong and he can deal with the football. With a pre-season and some coaching behind him we feel we can make him better and that's the type of player we want to work with."

As the transfer deadline for 2004/05 looms Carlton Palmer has had his sights on a number of players but does not know yet whether or not changes will be made before the deadline date on Thursday next week.

Giles Coke has signed for football league side Mansfield Town after impressing boss Carlton Palmer whilst on trial at Field Mill a couple of weeks ago.The club would like to thank Giles for his outstanding contribution and dedication over the course of this season and wish him all the best for the future.
Still only 18 years old,the midfielder has a bright future according to K's boss Scott Steele: "He's a good box-to-box player.I think he's good enough to play at a higher level than League Two but Mansfield could be a good stepping stone for him."

Meanwhile,Mansfield have agreed to play the K's in a pre-season friendly at Kingsmeadow.A date for this fixture will be annouced at a later stage.
