Dons sign international as four player moves confirmed

Dave Anderson has been busy in the transfer market this week. Today he confirmed that two new players have joined, with Andrew Martin leaving the club and Danny Naisbitt off for a month's loan.

Shane Smeltz becomes AFC Wimbledon's first current full international. The six-foot New Zealand striker has just been released by Mansfield and joins us on a non-contract basis.
Dave explained:
“It's been a busy few days. To stay within our budget, bringing a striker in meant another striker had to move on.
Finally, of course we're delighted to bring the first international to the club. Shane has been at Mansfield since the turn of the year, so we look forward to seeing what he can do.
