JUSTICE FOR CURLE
Keith Curle is set to be compensated by Mansfield after being controversially suspended by the League Two club. Mansfield's sudden decision to "drop" Curle as boss and put Carlton Palmer in charge was viewed by his backers as a shameful attempt to remove him without a pay-off. The former England defender took legal advice over allegations concerning an unspecified incident given as the reason for his suspension.
Now The SP understands that a severence package is being negotiated at talks between the two sides this week.
