WOODMAN EXTENDS LOAN

Craig Woodman is set to extend his loan spell with League Two side Mansfield Town into a second month.

The 21-year-old full-back has played five games for The Stags since initially arriving at Field Mill on 24th September and he scored his first senior goal in Saturday's 3-1 home win over Notts County .

City have insisted on a recall clause for Craig's second month with the Nottinghamshire side, who are managed by former City defender Keith Curle, meaning within 24 hours' notice he could be asked to return to Ashton Gate.

But with Mickey Bell, Clayton Fortune, Kevin Amankwaah and Matthew Hill all available to play full-back at Walsall on Saturday that is not thought to be an option at this stage.
