CURLE REACTION
30th August 2004 19:00

I think the result matched our performance level. It was a result that a lot of people needed: players and supporters alike.

People sometimes get caught up with the results in this league that we're in. People mentioned about Grimsby and that with a 2-0 defeat away from home that we miust have been outplayed - far from the truth, except we conceded a bad goal in the first 4 or minutes but from then on we had 3 or 4 clearcut opportunities within that game; we had the lion's share of the play for the majority of the game.

Today again, you were thinking we're cutting this team open but are we going to put the ball in the net? Then we had a 10 minute period of play where everything went in. I think we've got goals in this team. The early goal gives the platform but there's still a lot of work to be done. Yeovil are a very good team. When we're firing we are going to get chances. We got 6 or 7 chances at Oxford and similar at Grimsby.

I get paid to put out the right team; some people can only judge the players by what they do on a weekly basis when they seem them perform on a Saturday afternoon. I've got the privilege of being able to see them day in day out and I pick the team on that.

Adam Eaton and Lee Williamson shpould both be available for Sunday.
