RESERVES BEATEN AT LEICESTER IN USEFUL RUN OUT

Stags Reserves took the short trip down to the Walkers Stadium on Tuesday afternoon for a Reserve fixture to keep some of the 1st team fringe players toned up in case they are required for the play-offs.

Stags were very lively and took the lead with a Buxton volley, and went close again with efforts from Lloyd, Dimech and Beardsley worrying the Foxes defence.

Leicester City fielded a few 1st team players ie Gillespie, Nellis, Benjamin
and Jordan Stewart, likewise Stags had Artell, Beardsley, Dimech,Andy White and Mitchell in their line-ups.

Following their opening bright spell the Foxes took control and hit back with 2 goals before the break.

The second half was a stalemate with neither side imposing there ultimate superiority but management and players could be pleased with the Stags performance and effort.
