MULLIGAN JOINS EASTWOOD

Manager Bryan Chambers has announced that he has signed Lance Mulligan from Mansfield Town. Mulligan (18) made one brief appearance for the Stags first team this season, away at Oxford, but his capture by the Badgers boss shows the calibre of player that want to be involved at Coronation Park. Mulligan scored three goals at Deeping in the FA Youth cup in October, but since then he has been unable to force his way into a very strong Stags youth team. Short and stocky, he is not everyone's idea of a centre forward (neither was Joe Baker!), but he is a tricky, busy player and most of all he wants to play football. So much so that when asked if he wanted to travel to Armthorpe and a place on the bench or play in the Reserves, he chose the Reserves! If you can't get to Armthorpe on Saturday, go to Coronation Park and check him out.. |
