mansfieldtown.net reports that Rhys Day, who had to be stretchered off the pitch during last week's home fixture against Peterborough United, has torn his medial ligament and it is looking doubtful that he will be playing on Saturday against Port Vale.
Iyseden Christie, too, is doubtful about his fitness for this fixture after leaving the training ground today with a twinge in his hamstring. Of course we will also be without Liam Lawrence who will be sitting this game out due to suspension.
