Reserves eye Dale clash
Teamtalk Walsall defender Dion Scott will turn out for Stags reserves at Rochdale today in the Avon Insurance League Division Two fixture, kick-off 2pm. Town are known to be in the market for a new central defender, particularly with Adam Barrett on the transfer list, and Scott will be available this summer from The Saddlers. "The lad has played a few first-team games at Walsall and been a regular in their reserves and we are just going to have a look at him today," said Stuart Watkiss. Club captain Les Robinson will also play in a bid to prove his fitness after a hamstring injury ahead of Saturday's promotion decider with Carlisle. A strong Stags side will also include Michael Bingham, Dave Jervis, Alistair Asher, Shayne Bradley, Danny Bacon, Jamie Clarke and Craig Disley. |
