No specific reason Edders, with four prospective hotels having received planning permission it seems to me the first one that gets underway may well be the only one that gets built.

Planning permission does not and never has meant properties will be built.
On the other hand, I can't see why JR would go to all the expense of designing and planning a super hotel and not building it on land he already owns.

As always, time will tell.

Perhaps he is waiting for the final payment to the Calver Cowboy before he decides to go ahead with it.

At the evening with John & Carolyn they did say there would be an open day. I popped down last week and it looks excellent.

My cousin made and installed the windows at the training ground and he said the facilities are 2nd to none.

Tbf Carolyn, it's better to under promise and over deliver than over promise and under deliver.

Let people have low expectations because then it's easier to surpass them. In business you tend to learn this the hard way.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

It’s nothing short of a miracle what JR and Co have achieved since he’s been here. Promotion back to the EFL, season on season improvements on the pitch, fantastic youth system, the club nearly sustainable financially and this amazing new facility. Also we nearly have Haslam fully paid up and raspberried off, and a new hotel coming. There is more good stuff I’m sure including the family initiatives and leaps forward commercially. I know there’s a question mark re season ticket prices and pricing in general but it’s obvious JR does listen and will eventually sort this out too.

If someone had said our club would be in this position 7 or 8 years back I would have thought they were crazy.

HAPPY TIMES.

So what? It honours the two men who have donated there time, money and expertise to get it built and help push our club to another level. Who cares what it's called.

Our fans sometimes, honestly.

JR and SH could easily have set up that company to make money for themselves, yet don't, donate it's £1,500,000 to build it and all some can do is moan that is wasn't called " The Superdooper Amber Trooper Free Kick Taker Maker Centre"

I had a drive up the other day and it looks fantastic, however (and please don't shoot me) I feel it's a little tucked away up a single track. It's a shame it wasn't built more central to town or off the MARR road (such as Prologis park, near enough to the One Call) with easy access to all. I guess the land cost would be an issue. I think it will be a great asset to the local communities of Pleasley, Bull farm that area but perhaps a little out of the way for the rest of the town. Nevertheless it's primary function is to improve our first team facilities and I hope it takes the club to the next level.

Big yells pipe down. All I can do is moan? Where have I moaned about it being built. Very supportive of it. Yes it's a good facility. I made a comment about its name which is true, it's a very bland name. Agree with me, you know its bland.

Who gives a bloody rats arse about what it’s called.

It could be called the Adolf hitler training facility for all i care, providing its a good training centre and does what it’s supposed to do, which it does - and then some!
