Thanks Sam, good read for those unable to make the game.

I went to two games today including Gainsborough Trinity 2 v Mansfield town U21 0 at 3PM
I'll endeavour to post a short report and lots of pictures from the young Stags game tomorrow
Only around a dozen MTFC fans were at the Northolme, with all the first team action being played elsewhere, but one of our number was ex Stags, Bristol Roves and Grimsby player Craig Disley #onceaStag

Disley is Under 16 coach at Grimsby now

I should think he’s just trying different systems and formations. Should be able to start reading more into it from Wednesday

If you’ve only got 25 players fit and available (including a triallist and young professionals) then there are bound to be a few players tried at different positions.
We’ll see after the home friendlies (or should that be at the first league game) how the team will shape up. It will definitely change depending on performances in these matches and in training and also depending on injuries.

We've seen first hand what CJ can do down that left, as has Flitcroft. He's having a look at what Khan can offer.
Maybe the plan is to have Khan and CJ swap wings from time to time.
