That ground no longer is with us, it is all covered with houses, just like the ground at Hayes and Yeading we played at.

Ah i'm not surprised pete, because from memory it did seem to be surrounded with houses/flats.

If the club wasn't sustainable, natural conclusion i suppose.

They're really going to enjoy their game of 'guess where it is'.

I remember literally not having a clue where Histon was.

That was one of the funniest afternoons in the Conference. It makes me shudder to think of some of those hell holes we visited. Ebbsfleet, rust falling into the half-time pies, Lewes, our players warming up on the nearby park and the thrashing at Hayes and Yeading and being taunted at by their 200 fans. We are so lucky to be where we are.

And the most overused verse at Conference level?

When you are a relegated Football League club and you sign any new player: "This is a massive club for this level."

I can't see Exeter slipping up Dan with Chesterfield and Crawley at home and Stevenage away. The quicker the Spireites' relegation is confirmed then the better for me.

Me neither mate but no one saw Lincoln losing at Port Vale yesterday so you never know.

I did.

Not something that’s politically correct in this day and age.

hmm. TV coverage of the Conference is infinitely better than it is of League Two. Many more live games (roughly 20 versus about 6), and the BT weekly highlights show wipes the floor with Channel 5 and Sky's effort.

How many times couldn't you get wifi in non league compared to THE League?
I'm sure I remember games trying to use your phone for commentary.

Billy mcewan should take over and give them hope for 12 games.

Lack Jester might do well in that non league.

Bobs Board really is going into meltdown and so reminiscent of Stagsnet all those years ago.
Absolutely giving pelters to anyone and everyone.
One says 'I can even put up with our little neighbours having their moment in the sun after 25 years of dominance '.
The fact he's writing it proves the wound has gone deep from Saturday.
They do incredibly believe they are too big for the Vanarama, Lutonesque in their beliefs. God have they got a shock coming.
Derbyshire Senior Cup perhaps? Shirebrook away? Clay Cross? Heanor, Alfreton.
For however long this lasts, enjoy it folks.
