Time to improve the goal difference.

Postby Kernow » Sat Feb 03, 2018 11:06 am

Let's go for it today. Barnet at bottom end of the league so we need an attacking formation.
Logan, Anderson, Pearce, Bennet, Benning, Mc Donald, Byrom, Hamilton, Rose, Hemmings, Miller.
Any thoughts ? Goal difference will count at the end of the season.

We seem to fail to beat the bottom of the league on a regular basis at home so I will be ecstatic if our goal difference at the end of the game is better by +1

The win is more crucial , I would take a 1-0 , we can't underestimate these teams languishing in the bottom half of the league , they are fighting for their lives

Agree a win is what matters. If we win enough games goal difference wont matter.

Can't see any of the new lads starting today.

Think Mellis is crocked so can see Penney coming in, also Miller for CJ

My bad, didn't realise that...

Would be very harsh to drop CJ.

I agree. Think CJ is hitting a pretty good patch of form.

I'm expecting a tight game. Barnet will be difficult to beat under Westley. I'll be very surprised if Atkinson doesn't start after his second half at Morecambe.

Logan
Anderson, Pearce (or Diamond), Bennett, Benning;
MacDonald, Byrom, Atkinson, Hamilton;
Rose, Hemmings.
The three new signings on three bench, plus Sterling-James forcing his way into the 18

yes, I like Pearce but he dropped a clanger last week and I prefer Diamond and Bennett as I think they distribute it better

fair point, I think Diamond also offers a goal threat.

don't get me wrong though, I think Pearce is very good too
