Days like today.

Postby 88BenM » Sat Mar 16, 2024 10:46 pm

As fans of the less fashionable lower league clubs, we are often starved of the good times.

These are the good times ladies and gents. Let's drink it in and absorb every minute of it.

The fans were sensational today. It was an absolute carnival in the away end and extremely well behaved!

Days like today will live long in the memory.

Apart from throwing a smoke bomb/flare on to the pitch, or the fan you ran on the pitch or the people who took a blown up penis into the ground with the words ‘SSA are raspberries’ on it.

Soak it up. This team are giving me the best season of my 40 odd years supporting the club. These are the days we’ve been wanting for so long.

We saw the fan who ran onto the pitch in a Police van outside the ground on our way to the car. He was window licking, now that's funny.

Odd reaction to people slagging off volunteers who help our club and fans, particularly when there is a different thread on here rightfully thanking volunteers for organising the bus trips

It's clearly a minority and comes off the back of the evening with.

Mildly amusing nonetheless, as its not that deep

I suspect it is that deep to SSA volunteers being called raspberries

It reflects more on the moron who did it and those on here who think it's funny. It's pathetic but not unexpected. I'm pretty sure those fantastic people involved with SSA won't be bothered, they know we have a few very small minded people who attach themselves to our club.

I still cannot believe yesterday happened its a blur, , i feared for the worse, what a win.
Like in all walks of live, we have to believe its the good that will be remembered and are associated with the club.
The fans who take the sport as a excuse for mindless acts of violence and bad behaviour, always leave a sour taste.
The sad fact of life they are at every club

Be the lad who’s ran on the pitch (who was supposedly in a police van) has had a long day today,

Night in a police cell, needs to find a way home, and a probable ban missing out on seeing us in league 1 potentially for the first time in nearly a generation.

Some serious grovelling needed from that lad let’s say.
