Let's not in any way think it's about us, telly is there coz it's Wrexham and they'll be hoping they win.

Have Wrexham paid the cameras to be there in the vain hope that it will diminish our travelling support

Obviously running scared of the impetus our supporters give :head ball:

It would be nice to have a re-run of 1978!

Thousands of Staggies, Ernie Moss with his last minute winner, loads of Crystal Palace fans cheering us on and, after the final whistle, being crowned Champions,

Glorious memories that I hope a new generation can enjoy

I'm actually quite happy about this. Referees seem to have a tendency to give Wrexham dodgy penalties and keep playing until they score. With it being on the box hopefully the referee will have to be on his best behaviour.

I didnt get there till late - was on one of a number of coaches that got lost in the welsh hills somewhere. I was on the shoulders of a huge stags fan after the game and had one corner of a stags flag as we walked down the road to our coach. What a day .

This will be the 4th live game v Wrexham in the last 12 years. Always seem to be against the same teams. Had Newport four times also.
First match : 04.01.1975 home v Cambridge Utd F.A.Cup 3rd Round 1-0 Clarke

That game at Wrexham when we secured promotion will live long in my memory. What a fantastic day that was! We were literally swept down the steps with the hundreds of Stags fans when Ernie scored. There was fighting everywhere in the car park afterwards with angry Welshmen pitted against jubilant Stags and Crystal Palace fans!
Mansfield Town, my club even though been exiled in London since 1983.

We were already up by that game. It was to win the title for us. It was to secure promotion for Wrexham... thanks to us they failed :hysteria:

Correct. The 2013 final match v Wrexham was exponentially more important than 1977s match.

You can buy a 24hr Sky Sports pass from Now tv, £11.99, the 24hrs start to run down immediately you activate it so don't activate until the day of the game.
