I imagine he will play next too Akins or behind the strikers in the diamond, or if we go to the 4231 again I think he could play anywhere in the 3. I would imagine the main role he will play is next too Akins in the diamond with DKD behind.

so its Akins or bust then for the goals up top :?

Akins has played every position bar goalkeeper (I'm sure Broomo or Bear said he had, could be wrong if either can confirm or deny) in his career

He has played a lot of his career on the right, winger or wing back and yes gazza played every position except goalkeeper in league football

Has there not been an interview yet or have I missed it? Odd there hasn't been put up nearly 24 hours after signing?

It looks like 2024 really is the year all our dreams come true
PS. Seeeee ya M25 :-)

That's great news. If players are nearer home and settled and happy then they are more likely to play well. Hopefully Tom Nichols will get back to his best form.

Sounds like Ollie Clarke is one of our main recruitment agents.

Tom Nichols knows Christy Pym, Ollie Clarke and Alfie Kilgour and has also recently played with Oli Hawkins and George Lapslie.

He's also played with Bobby Olejnik, Jamie Reid, Ryan Tafazolli, Lee Angol, Hayden White, Ryan Sweeney and Rollin Menayese.

Plenty to talk about on the team bus then. :)

A good interview.

It seemed as if Clough had perhaps emphasised to him that he could stay higher, between the posts, than he has perhaps tended to in the past.
