Notts (Res) V Stags (Res) POSTPONED

Postby stagmanrob » Wed Jan 24, 2024 9:28 am

Just noticed the reserve match today is highlighted on Bet365's in-play schedule for a kick off at 12 O'Clock.

Cloughie said in his post match interview that all unused subs from last night will be getting a run out (O'Toole, Williams)

Notts are down as the home side, but it is being played at the RH.
As a consequence, Notts are favourites in the betting.

If we put out a bit of experience, and they go with their full youth team, might be a bit of value there for those interested

(Stags at 2.90 for straight win)

Its on my calendar as a 2pm kick off, wind supposed to stop at 3pm so if its 12 kick off be more running fetching the ball than on the pitch!

Hope Boeteng plays well in that today, thought he looked composed and calmed us down last night.

Yes he did look calm etc but hardly got involved, I'd ship him out tomorrow, he doesn't work hard enough.

In most of his games this season I would agree with you, however I thought he did get involved last night and set us up on a few attacks down the left. We know from last season, if he gets a run of games he can produce. We will see, however he does offer something different then the others do when on form.

I thought we did, towards the end of the game there was a lot of ''hollywood'' balls forward when in that wind, was never going to work. The times we looked like scoring were through passages of play where we calmed down and picked the right passes.

RH pitch must be worse than Field Mill, hardly had a spot of rain.
