Must say I’m slightly surprised that Quinn seems to go straight back in to a lot of peoples teams when the other midfielders have performed so well whilst he was out.

Assuming Clarke is fit after his 20 minutes last Tuesday I’d go for him, Maris and Lewis with DKD ahead of them. Akins & Oates up top.

If Reed wasn't suspended Quinn would be nowhere near my XI but he's better half fit than coaster Boateng.
We played our best football with Akins up front on his own, DKD just behind and the midfielders buzzing around them so Oate's back to the bench.
I'd actually be tempted to put Bowery RB, Johnson in front of him and bench Quinn too

When Quinn gets up to speed he will be an important player for us during the second half of the season.

Beleive Quinn is leading the way for assists per 90 for what it's worth, by quite a way as well.

it’s not a case of thinking he’s a bad player, but he’s 37 and just had best part of 3 months out and the team went unbeaten (league) during that period. I just don’t necessarily think he should come straight back in to the starting 11. I don’t think we’ve missed him (which is praising the team rather than knocking him)
