Thanks Bradders, couldn’t remember Ted Harston’s name. He was the last player before Wilko to get five in a game . Can remember a presentation to Wilko at the next home game after the Brum game to mark the achievement.


The presentation to Steve Wilkinson was because he equalled the record for goals scored in a 3rd division game.
Ted Harston holds the record for goals scored in a season in 3rd division (North).

Absolute stupid post...you do know he only played 12 or 13 games that season and he kept 5 or 6 clean sheets if memory serves me right.
That reply is as stupid as others who blame Bucko even though AJB cost us far more points with errors and penalties given away and had a very poor season by his usual standards.
