Nigel, it was your decision to push Flint forward, we understand why, had he stayed back we could well have left Swindon with a worthy point.

Once more a honest reply to all questions, and a mention to alternatives that could have been made and reasons why decisions were made.
And once more in hindsight we could have alternatives, we wanted 3 points and with better finishing could have got them.
Brunt summed it up. thats football,

Fair play to Clough for admitting it may have been a mistake, he’s got criticism for not taking responsibility in previous seasons.

Oh dear Bear 73, it's not about a scapegoat, Nigel has admitted his error, fair do's to him, now onto the next challenge.

Water under bridge unbeaten runs put pressure on we can relax now a bit and try to find a striker who can score goals as Oates Swan and DKD are not going to get into big numbers that’s for sure

Honestly that's a ridiculous statement.

DKD has 11 goals in 18 league appearances. Do folk not pay attention to stats at all?

We don't need them to.

We scored 72 goals, joint highest in the league, with out highest scoring player getting 10 goals. We have already exceeded that with DKD(who scored 7 in 19 last season so he's improved his scoring ratio). Lucas is only 2 goals off his total last season.

We've lost just one game so far. We've finally stopped conceding as many goals. It bodes well imo.

Just last season the champions, who won the league by 6 points, had a highest scorer of..... 10 goals. How did they get promoted? Apparently you must have a 20+ goals a season player. Stevenage in 2nd went up with 3 players on 10 goals. How? No one scored 20+?

The other 2 sides did go up with 20+ goals. 1 via the pottery of the play offs and the other in 3rd.

It's not a pre requisite.

I am glad NC has admitted he made a mistake, His stubbornness has been something I have criticized. Any point away from home is decent.

I was searching for latest interviews on I Player but could not find them. I just realised why. Both interviews were entitled pre Swindon not pre Tranmere! A little knowledge can be dangerous in the wrong hands!
