so the year Peter Morris took us up as third division champions - Venables was in his first role as manager at Palace who were behind us and Brighton in third place.

Euro 96 was a great tournament, we were 1 round of drinks from Gazza putting us into the final.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

I remember when when Palace came to the Mill , there I was in front of the old west stand and Terry Venables and Malcom Allison signed the front of my Stags program. They were famous stars to me as a kid from Shirebrook . Palace fans filled the Quarry Lane , great memories . RIP Terry .
