Didn't even know/remember he had ended up there tbh.

Been up there a couple of years. Had to be patient but is playing regularly now and doing well. So glad he scored against the Tims today

Don't know about playing well Dan, it was about his only touch of the game and then subbed later on :D
First time both Rangers and Celtic have both lost on the same weekend since 2018, bet you could have got great odds on Friday night..

Yes you could’ve made a few quid on that!

Also Anthony Hartigan scored for Barnet at Hartlepool, looked a fluke as it was from the left wing and it curled into the top corner.

John Doolan (Stags player 1994-1998) put in temporary charge of Accrington Stanley today. Combative and useful midfielder who was prone to score the occasional goal if I recall.

He was an above average midfielder with a handy long range shot.

I don't think this is the John Doolan who played for the Stags. There were two John Doolan's, this is the one that played at Wigan.

Yeah was just about to post that, can't believe he's only 49, my memory had me thinking he was mid 20's when he came to us, but he wasn't. As Yorkie says, our JD was a fine footballer and left before he should have, but that's Haslam, saw the money and extra tiles for his Portugeese swimming pool. I think Steve Whitehall left the same summer.

Not sure if this has already been posted, or if this is the right thread for it (sure someone will tell me if it isn't!), but JJOT can be seen here (7:32) getting involved in the celebrations for Wimbledon's brilliant winner against Franchise...

Absolutely, it didn't work out for him here but he never stopped trying and has done brilliantly at Stevenage.

Some people are just born lucky eh?

His team-talk for his first game should last about 30 seconds.

Looks like Murray has got his work cut out to keep Eastbourne up. Taunton and Truro just outside the drop zone have a load of games in hand. It looks like their best hope is to catch Torquay, don’t know if Torquay are at risk of a points deduction or worse with their problems.
