Just wondered if Gazza is doing the catering? Four cans of lager and some chicken won’t get very far if there are 200 there.

A complete idiot, but a pleasure to watch him at his best. He looks awful. I wouldn’t part with my cash to fund his habits!!!

Alcolism isn’t an illness it’s a personal choice. Nobody chooses to be ill!

Heavy drinking is a choice, which most of us indulge in from time to time and can easily refrain from.
Addiction is never a choice, any 'dry' alcoholic will tell you that no matter how many years sober they are, they are still an alcoholic.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

So they then choose not to drink which is a choice ! Stop calling alcoholism an illness as I have said no one chooses to be ill fgs!

You'll find that it isn't a choice, but an illness. You can't just choose to stop, and suddenly become no longer an alcoholic. If that's how it worked then there wouldn't be such a thing as alcoholism. It's like telling someone suffering from depression that they can just choose to cheer up!
There are treatments though.
The most common medications used for this are acamprosate and naltrexone. These are both given at a fixed dose, and you'll usually be on them for 6 to 12 months.
