They have to dislike someone, the 'rivalry' with Grimsby is pathetic. Lincoln really do have a hate for us, it's hilarious as we couldn't really give a toss about them.

I dislike them more than County, especially with The Cowley's in charge.

Me too

Thing with County I don’t really dislike them, it’s just that idiot Hardy makes them unbearable, bit like the Cowley brothers.

Let's have a thread about Lincoln!

You can just about read this through the bitterness. Worth it for a laugh. This blog was the same last year, really hate Mansfield.

He says "Mansfield didn't come with a plan to manage the game" and then goes on to acknowledge that we "got the upper hand. After kicking us all over for one half, they outplayed us for much of the second. They'd done what needed to be done, they had scored a psychological advantage".

Well which is it? Either we didn't have a plan to manage the game or our game management over both halves achieved "what needed to be done".

Sounded to me like we managed just fine.

You'd think they'd be more gracious in defeat with all the practice they had prior to the Cowleys arriving at Lincoln. They've had 2 years of the good times, it has certainly gone to their heads, they seem to think that they're far and away better than all the sides in our division. I hope they choke.

Funny that, Didn’t see Cowley making comments when Rhead nearly took the Shrewsbury keepers head off his shoulders at Wembley last season.

I wouldn't mind a Luton. But let's leave it until they're doing badly. I don't want to know when they're doing well.

BBC Radio Lincs said that Lee Beevers was at the game last night scouting for Kings Lynn. He was hoping that the Stags would play more of their U21 players.

Danny Cowley is a poor excuse for a manager... seen too many at the top moaning every week when he was a pe teacher and thinks its the only way to speak about a game.

He must know he's limited, he only ever played football at a poor level and this is as high as he's got. He bottled a massive move to Ipswich last minute so I wonder if he knows he's raspberry.

wasn't it flit croft who accused cox of watering the pitch because we didn't want to get battered by bury? Someone correct me! He's a pro, he's knowledgeable and clever and has class and knows when to have ago. Im liking him more each week.

Danny Cowley has done a fantastic job at Lincoln and he has worked his way up the hard way. I have a lot of respect for him. He is clearly a very good man manager and tries to get the best out of all his players. You also do not have to play at a high level to be a good manager.

Most managers like a good whinge when things do not go their way. It's all part of the qualifications to become a Master of the Dark Arts. I liked David Flitcroft's response as well.

Excellent from Flitcroft!

Cowley playing the victim in front of the cameras is nothing short of embarrassing. His comments about the amount of fouls are daft too, from the stats on sky sports they made more fouls than us and were also the ones with a red card.

I hope the Cowleys get a chance to manage at a higher level. They deserve their chance. It will also be very hard for Lincoln to adjust afterwards. I was walking behind a Lincoln fan up Sincil Bank last night and he turned to his friend and said "This club and city will crumble into dust when the Cowleys eventually leave."

The last few seasons have been special times for Lincoln fans. They need to enjoy them while they last. The same for us with JR.

I love the "foul every 28 seconds we had possession" line, we committed 14 fouls. So out of 90 or so minutes in the match they had possession for 7 of those minutes.

Did we really have 90% of the possession?

Just a sore loser. It's obvious what Lincoln's game plan was, draw fouls any way you can and get it to Rheady. With matt Rhead as the central striker you ain't playing tippy tappy car park stuff!

Ask yourself which brand of football would you like to see. The Flitcroft footballing style or the Cowley “Coxball” method.

To be fair to them, you can't argue with the success they've had and the job they're doing at the moment. However, I don't like them or their style of play. I've got money on them to go up so I'm happy either way.

I suppose they do get it into Area 51 more as they’re direct.
That form of football has its limitations as you go further up the ladder.
