...... Pure pure class. This guy is 37 years old and plays like a man in his prime. Possibly the best midfielder we've had in our shirt for over a decade.
Looks like he has another 100,000 miles in the tank. I'd give him another two years right this minute.

and some had written him off because of his age before he'd even kicked a ball. a very good signing it seems so far, he's everything we've missed last year

Expected him to be a ball winner and an experienced head but he is a much better footballer than I thought. He speeds up attacks at the right times. Would like to see him get the ball off the defence more often is my only slight criticism, please don't leave Sweeney on the ball!

Although he is 37.If he was a car he would be low mileage.By that I mean that he only started playing professionally when he was 25.He is what we were missing last season.

Amazing player. Just what we needed in midfield. Thank God it's quelled the calls for the return of Jamie McGuire!

New chant. Instead of the "there's only one......"
It's "you're getting bashed by the bishop"
post meanings:
I know what I'm doing
Just guessing
You're an idiot and I'm poking you with a stick

Neal Bishop played well on Tuesday night and he had another good game today. He gets his foot in and breaks up attacks and then gets us going on the front foot again.

You don't need the legs of a 25 year old when your mind is faster than everyone elses.
It's like he's got a sixth sense of where the ball is going to go!

What a great signing. His reading of the game and anticipation is second to none. His age and how long he can play at that level is the only question mark really. We need to get what we can while we can and hope he can do it all season.
Giving a 2 year extension now at 37 might be a bit hasty Doomy

He is class but we do need to look after him, whilst he is clearly very fit, the older you get the longer you take to recover from knocks. I definitely would not involve him at all at Lincoln and would use that game to give the likes of OSJ, Graham, Gibbens etc a crack. If you look at an alternative 11 from the one that played yesterday, it is very, very strong!
