As far as I know, he's at home with Thomas & Nessa, most probably pestering Nessa as normal... If he's not, he'll be asleep on the bed or in a basket.
I backed my car into a cop car the other day, he just drove off, sometimes life's okay...

I was on a flight from Glasgow to East Midlands today and Zander was on the flight. Unfortunately never got the chance to speak to him.

Sounds like Diamond has some sort of spinal injury which he tried to continue playing with towards the end of last season by having injections into the joints. If this is the case his health should come before football because without a major operation the condition will not improve just become more debilitating. At the moment he can barely run so will not improve even with total rest. Feeling he will have to retire from football when his contract ends as we have to provide a care package as he was injured at work playing for MTFC. It would explain the falloff in his performance in certain games at the end of last season. Real shame feel for the guy.

If that's true I hope it makes those who have been slagging the fella off think a bit.

And those who have said, like everything else, it must be DF's fault.

JR said at the end of last season that the club would be carrying out more thorough medical examinations in the future . Steve Evans' two big defensive signings have turned out to be disastrous due to their injuries. They were both decent players and should have strengthened our squad. The club has had its fingers well and truly burnt.

It has, neither contributed much during the season, not their fault because they were injured, but I do think it is reasonable that the club is responsible for their care, whilst they are under contract.

Surely that is the first thing you check when signing someone over 30? Schoolboy stuff from the club if true.
