That's Flitcroft best interview yet.

And scathing of Peterborough outright calling them liars. I wonder what they'll say about that?

Very honest interview, hopefully some of the keyboard warriers on social media will take it in board too, but I doubt it.

I hope Evans gets to see it this morning the lying toad!

Can’t say we are surprised though.

Well done Flitcroft, carry on like this and you will give us that football to be proud of.

Anyone else get issues with Sky when viewing highlights in the browser? I sit through the pants ads and then it just sits there. I have to go to the Sky app to watch.

It seems that UK users aren't allowed to view the video on a mobile device ("not available in your location"). I had the same with the Yeovil highlights, wherever I was in the UK. Seems OK on a PC.

Well done Flitcroft. Fabulous performance. Great interview. Well played to every single player including Danny Rose. Time to forget Dastardly and Dodgy.

I don't think the timing of the station trailer is a coincidence...

So he hasn't hit back with a denial or counter-claim, he's just slated Flitcroft for only winning 2 out of 15 last season, that was his fault in anyway.

Sounds like he's a bit bitter at going out of the cup while Flitcroft's side has progressed!

Full piece from the chad...

Former Mansfield Town manager Steve Evans has hit back at successor David Flitcroft over accusations of ‘lies and deceit’ over Peterborough United’s attempts to sign Danny Rose. Flitcroft was furious after claiming Rose, last season’s top scorer, had been ‘manipulated’ by Posh into handing in a transfer request, then the required fee never met, even though he said Peterborough told the player it had been.

Rose remains on the transfer list, but Peterborough manager Evans said: “I don’t think the (Rose) move will happen, even though the boy wants to play in League One and we would love to sign him. “Flitcroft should concentrate on his job at Mansfield rather than what Peterborough are up to. “Maybe then he would have won more than two of 15 games with them last season.” Rose scored as a second half substitute in last night’s 6-1 Carabao Cup rout of Accrington Stanley.

All for being on Flitcroft side like, but you can’t just blame that form last season under Flitcroft Evans fault.

Unless you are being purposely bias.
