AA if we save 50% of his wage we will have cash towards another striker IF we get one. I am no accountant but Rose does not want to be here.

some people on Facebook saying he had 'bags of potential' and 'stags fans wouldn't know quality of it smacked them in the face'

Lee Angol and quality are not words to be used in the same sentence, he was alright but we've done well to sell him and hopefully recouped the fee which fatty spunked on him.

Rose feigned a toe injury, spoke with fat boy, said he wants to leave, and put in a transfer request, the diving gimp should never wear the Amber again

From what I hear its more likely that he will go out on loan in the next week or so with a view to a permanent deal.
Maybe still with Peterborough but there are other interested clubs !!

I think we will bring a striker in on loan before end of August too

It would be crazy to let Rose go out on loan.

How would that benefit the club?

A loan with an agreed deal is just the same as a sale.

It just gives us more time to source a replacement.

A loan with a optional future fee is better. Try before you buy.

He’s going to need Norman Foster’s help GFB (or a five minute hat trick)

Both unlikely

Isn't that what we had with Hemmings.

What happens if the player is a total flop, do we still get the fee?

An injury to Walker or Davies and a few goals would get us falling back in love with him

This transfer window has gone very badly:-

We are still lumbered with all the transfer listed players (except Digby, who might have had the most to offer, in terms of squad cover). Meanwhile Anderson, Butcher, Diamond (did he even attempt to find another club?) and Atkinson (should have remained on the transfer list) are all still at the club and draining the wage bill, whilst not being in the first eleven.

The one player who wants to leave (Danny Rose), no-one is prepared to pay our asking price for. And we might now need to loan him out, and we are unlikely to find a better loanee.

And the one striker who actually could offer the team more this season, and didn't want to leave, and had the same strike rate as Danny Rose (Lee Angol) has been sold.

We are now very light up front.

Unless DF has a better loan player lined up than Danny Rose, we would be better to retain Rose, remind him who pays his wages, and get the best out of him. Because Davies & Walker can only do so much. And it would be unrealistic to expect that neither of them will lose form, or get injured at some point this season (let alone the fact that we will need to utilise a striker in the second half of every game this season, regardless of who starts the game). Our 'third striker' will be crucial to the success of this season.

Depends on the agreement I suppose, but if we send out Rose and replace Rose/Angol with a loan/purchase then it could be very good business.

I`m pleased to see the extremely disappointing Angol go! As for Danny, if he has any raspberrys he will fight for a place. Imagine him coming on with 20 minutes to go!

Yes if it is agreed that the player will be signed permanently in January.

You can also sign players on loan with an option to sign the player at an agreed price in the next transfer window. I think JR had agreed a price for Ricky Miller and Kane Hemmings. You still need to agree terms with the player though.

You forget we brought Sweeney in and didn't lose any key players like Macca or Mal due to crazy offers.
That said, it is remarkable that we have not managed to pass on butcher or AAnderson to anyone. We need to get them out on loan this month.

I suppose it is the next best option, particularly when the loan window period goes beyond the transfer window.
