They’ll both go and we’ll be left light, one proper injury could hit us hard. That said, can see plenty of loans going through at our level up until the end of the month so we’ll probably get somebody in at a later date.

Rose to Barnsley, Luton,Shrewbury, Bradford, Peterborough.

So far nothing. Interesting last 50 mins coming up.

if they both go and we don’t sign and i don’t mean loan a striker, he is leaving us very very light up front and imo it’s a major mistake

I would have been 100% certain, judging by DF's comments on Tuesday that he wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't have replacements lined up, that because we were needing Rose and Angol to go first, any replacements would be loan ones. No point getting anyone in before anyone has gone, otherwise a top heavy forward line might have become more top heavy.

You need to prepare yourself for any replacement being a loan signing then, so that its not a surprise.

Even though the window shuts at 5pm I presume we could be left waiting for several hours before knowing if they've gone. I'm sure you can request an extension if the negotiations have reached a certain stage.

both clubs need to submit a deal sheet before 1700. Then they got until 1900 to agree terms and sign

Players can be signed before the deadline but press and other things can be announced later I think

Just seen Alex MacDonald, Calum Butcher and Danny Rose in the Costa near the train station. Doesn’t look like they’re going anywhere

What does salop mean?
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Salop is an old name for Shropshire, historically used as an abbreviated form for post or telegrams, it is thought to derive from the Anglo-French "Salopesberia". It is normally replaced by the more contemporary "Shrops" although Shropshire residents are still referred to as "Salopians".

It's another name for the county of Shropshire.
I believe it was at one time called Salop instead of Shropshire.

Still in there, deep in conversation. Maybe Macca has been sent in to mediate between the two and the manager, as possible vice captain. Not many smiles from them I have to say.
