Basford United v Mansfield Town U21s

Jack Thomas and Liam Hearn are playing for Basford United. Paul Anderson is still playing for the U21s. Tyler Blake also reappears or is it his brother, Nyle Blake?

Busy week for young Jordan, three games in four days. Hope he doesn't bon himself out

I have to say the covererage from the club on these u21 games have been shocking this pre season.

Hope blake, gibbens, and graham get a run out tomorrow.

The games have not been advertised very well by the club and nobody knew yesterday that the game at Shirebrook had been cancelled. It's a shame because we clearly have a strong U21s this season.

A very similar team tonight that played at Matlock on Tuesday. Playing against a very similar standard step3 side, I thought they played miles better today.

I also think the reason was that the game was played on a 3G pitch. The lads stroked the ball around well whereas on Tuesday they were hustled out of it because of the bobbly pitch.

Jordan Graham took his goal really well and then the team ‘game managed’ the match from then on extremely well.

I think Jack Thomas has found his level, didn’t look out of place at all.
