Both Gainsborough and Hednesford are listed as "Mansfield Town XI". At least they are at present. That means not the first team. Of course that might change as fixtures are slotted in and out.

I think the Trinity game clashed with another game last season.

That’s what I said Rob, we sent one team to Matlock and one team to Gainsborough on the same day.
Both teams were equal standard in my view.

Three home friendlies in a week a bit expensive in the holiday season. Got to be there though.

We had a game in Malta both times yet focused on drinking and sunning it up, the games were the worst part of it!

Hope we sort something proper out this time instead of playing a makeshift team of villagers like we did in Malta. Wrexham are going to the Algarve this summer and they are playing a proper outfit at the Estadio Algarve! Peterborough, who are also out in Portugal have 2 games lined up - 1 against a 1st division side. Even Leyton Orient have a game lined up in there against Benefica B - however from listening to Radford at the evening with it sounded as though our game will just be at the training complex that can facilitate around 200 supporters to stand at the side of the pitch. Plenty of people have paid good money - hopefully we sort it and do it properly!

Tweet from Retford United. I would await confirmation from Mansfield though that it is a first team game.

Hopefully the club, sooner rather than later, will post on their website a fixture list of friendlies and the anticipated type of starting XI (first team, reserves, under 21’s etc), entrance fees and keep this updated.

Anybody heard anything regarding Portugal? 3 weeks to go and the details we've had surrounding the trip have been minimal and we don't even have a game lined up yet.
