People can express a opinion on Angol attitude but some fans on here attitude towards him is abysmal.

Agree. He’s one of ours and should be getting backed.

That twice I have found myself agreeing with Belly - this World Cup is doing strange things to me.

Let DF play him and let us back him.

I concur with you all. Angol has yet to demonstrate his real value. I think that this will emerge this season. Flitters is nobody’s fool. He will get more from Angol this season.

Ricky Miller cannot play for Port Vale (even in pre-season games) until a disciplinary issue is resolved with the FA.

Think this was alluded to by Flitcroft or the Radfords in an interview, can't remember which one. Think it may have been Flitcroft in his first one back from pre-season.

Interesting to know whether it's related to something other than the court case.

Difficult to erase the 'bad boy' tag with some people. Trouble just seems to follow them like a devoted puppy.

Well as I've said before , many football fans, not just Staggies love a 'Panto Villain' to boo.

Get behind the lad, he never deserved the rubbishy given out by some, he didn't know where he stood with the idiot in charge.

I think he's a clever player, an eye for goal, but because he doesn't run around like the perverbrial headless chicken, he has taken dogs abuse. Let's get behind him and everyone wearing the shirt.

But Ricky plays for Port Vale now so he's fair game. Why would we want to get behind him now?

A goal (free kick) and an assist for Ricky Miller (brought down for a penalty) on his debut.

Well done to Tom Pope as well for equalling the record for the number of goals scored at Vale Park - 55 goals. Pretty good for a local lad and Port Vale fan. I loved his tweet yesterday:

"One day to go before we’re cheered, booed, called a legend, called a useless raspberry, the fans bins are filled with betting slips and the women are raging with their fellas going out Friday and getting home Sunday! Wouldn’t change a thing would we? "
