Brilliant news, but are we stretched defence wise?

I agree about being short at the back especially if Matt Preston takes time to fully recover.

I think we are equally short up front, all it takes is one injury.

Tippy Tappy Football wrote:Harry Kewell has brought him back again.
From BBC site:
Rob Milsom has returned to Notts County from League Two rivals Crawley, just three months after leaving the Magpies. Milsom, 31, follows new County boss Harry Kewell to Meadow Lane after the Australian's appointment on Friday. He signed a short-term deal at Crawley but has made a swift return to County, initially on loan until January, when the deal will become permanent. Milsom said: "Harry has been absolutely brilliant for me. I'm really enjoying my football under him."
Please tell me they had to pay his contract up when they released him. So they are now paying him twice.

That's a very good signing for our level.
Grimsby are my dark horses for the play-offs this season, think they've put together a decent squad.

The Transfer Window went a bit mental towards the end:
Christian Doidge has gone to Bolton after an £800,000 offer by Bolton was rejected. Bolton then upped their offer.
Caolon Lavery has joined Bury.
Ben Pringle is an excellent signing for Grimsby if he is still as good as he was in The Championship a few years' ago. He was on loan at Oldham last season.

It is rumoured that Jayden Stockley has a £750,000 buyout clause in his contract and that Sunderland and MK Dons could be interested.
https://www.devonlive.com/sport/exeter- ... en-2366317Grimsby have signed a Swedish left back, Sebastian Ring.
Carlisle have agreed terms to keep Jerry Yates and Jack Sowerby on loan.
No news on Ashley Nadesan yet. He could be worth trying to get on loan.

Could we be in for Ryan Bowman at Motherwell?

I doubt we are interested in Ryan Bowman. He's only scored 2 goals in 7 starts this season. Exeter and Grimsby are said to be the teams interested in him.
I'm a bit dubious about the quality of the Scottish Premier. Alan Power is a regular in midfield for Kilmarnock and he was deemed to be not good enough for League 2 by Danny Cowley at Lincoln City.

DF has proven he can improve players. Having said that, will he have the time to improve them mid season?

Exeter have confirmed that Stockley will be leaving as several clubs have triggered his release clause. Probably going higher but still good news.

I hadn't noticed that Nathan Cameron had joined Macc, good luck to him - didn't look good for him after breaking down with us in pre-season.

he's been their outstanding player in recent matches, according to one article I read
"Four points clear as Lincoln are McCaffreyised", CHAD headline, April 1975
