Does 100% capacity = 100% of seats we have (ie approx. 1900)
or 100% of SAG adjusted figure (which will be a few hundred short)?

capacity is in the region of 1800. I think we're not allowed to sell the front two rows, or something like that.

What’s the point of having them then ?

I don't know the exact reason why the capacity is only circa 1800. I can speculate that the front two rows are kept empty to aid keeping away fans away from the pitch. And if you had fans in the front two rows, and needed stewards to stand in front of them, the people in the front two rows wouldn't be able to see the pitch.

It’s just stupid. I seriously can’t understand the logic behind it.

The front 2 rows argument can't be valid as they have the rows available to Mansfield fans.

Unless it's acceptable to block the view for Mansfield fans but not the away fans - which strangely wouldn't surprise me

Personally I think they make the decision to make it all ticket too soon as a lot of folk won't or can't decide till the day of the match, work commitments etc, and with the bad weather also affecting a decision.
Unfortunately I work down south so can't make it.......gutted but 3 points hopefully.
Did the club make the decision too early?????.....your thoughts.

difficult decision. Damned if you do damned if you don't. The only thing we know for sure is that 135 more tickets could definitely be sold to Lincoln fans.

I think that we'll struggle to make 6000 for this one. Tuesday nights are difficult for many, and although no doubt conditions will be OK for travel by Tuesday the recent weather-related difficulties will mean quite a few holding off buying a ticket until too late.
I'm not sure whether season ticket holders (and those who bought tickets in advance) who don't turn up are counted in the attendance figure - there has been talk of this being the case in some situations (maybe only at other clubs). Personally I think that the figure should always be the number actually through the turnstiles.

It's to stop away fans from rushing up to the edge of the pitch, and getting over excited.
Worked well when Coventry got that penalty last week.

It's raspberries.

Just a general question to anyone not necessarily yourself, however you are correct in the sarcasm that it worked extremely well last week.

Bizarre. Other clubs seem to be able to sell all their available seats. Chesterfield did last time we played them. Their set up is no different to ours. Prem clubs don't seem to suffer from this rule. What is going on?

Other clubs don't have our SAG and aren't 'advised' by PC Gabbitas.

Probably a daft question but can you just scan your phone if buy online or do you have to print off the ticket?

It is possible, just need to invest in a system compatible with it.

Go to events they scan your phone, go to shops to pick up orders made online i.e Debenhams, Tesco etc scan your order from your phone.

That’s about 4,400 Home fans, then?

A bit disappointing IMO.

About what I expected with it being a night match.

What’s the most amount of home fans we had turn up against Lincoln since 2000.

I’m guessing around 4500 home fans back during curles reign.

Bit of bed time reading for you, all to do with the lasers apparently.

Now this doesn't mean ours aren't capable or couldn't be upgraded, but I suspect the cheap option was deployed at the time and therefore unable to read them. Hence the need to print at home.

Martin a point to make is that also includes season tickets (not all of which will attend the game).

Just getting it in then before anyone after the game says wheres the missing 500.

To be honest a good effort for a Tuesday night match given the newport attendance.

Also as a comment on twitter says £14 for an under 18 will have an impact (£12 for this game), should be no more than a £5er for under 12's.

£64 for two adults and two 7 yr olds.
£40 for two adults and two 6 yr olds.

Mr Hymas here is were the problem is, a barrier to entry for any family wanting to attend regularly in anywhere else but A block.

Look at the empty seats in the quarry lane end, make this a family stand charge no more than £30 a family.

350 fans at most weekly? (including kids) average £18 per ticket. £6,300

1000 fans (family of 4 ticket £30) - i.e 250 x £30 = £7,500.

Add on top extra food sales, future generations of fans buying into and growing up with the club, extra merchandise sales, some familys willing to upgrade into the west stand - surely this is a no brainer if advertised and pushed through all medias (not just facebook and twitter).
