Good luck to him.
Another player who on his day was unstoppable but sadly them days were too far apart.
Always seem to score from outside the area.

Forever grateful to Bris for the part he played in our escape from that hell hole of the BSP.

Tamworth fans (according to their forum) are sorry to see him leave and wish him well at Utd. At his best he was great for us, but League 2 seemed a step too far.

I feel fitness was always an issue with Louis, not so much ability.

If you watch the promotion season DVD he was involved in a huge % of our goals, and one of the main reasons we went up.

I never thought he got a chance after promotion, seemed to fall out of favour after his infamous penalty, Shame as I always thought he had something. Certainly a player I'd always like to see do well in the future.

Yes that penalty miss in first game at Scunthorpe was the end of Louis at The Stags in Cox's eyes.

It was the end of Cox for me also.
Sat with you Pete listening to the team's read out, Rhead and Dyer up front  then he proceeded with the previous seasons tactic but without Green of launching it wide right for Dyer to nod on for Rhead to chase!!!!! .
Probably the worst tactic with the players available in my time as a Staggie

Along with Alan Marriott, Louis was one of David Holdsworth better signings. It sad really, how so many of these players filter through to the lower leagues.

Briscoe played a significant part in getting us promoted. He was a winger who had end product, albeit inconsistent.
A question for you ............ how does Briscoe (& Meikle, if you like) compare with CJ Hamilton (& Hemmings), in terms of end product? ;)

Briscoe all day long. If he had CJ's pace he would have been playing way higher than Conference level for a long time now.
