Better crowds =2 from three ,he’s not far wrong

Depends how you define better, football has been played at Field Mill since 1861, it has been our home for a century, would I swap for an out of town Tesco ground, no way. When the Bishop is developed our ground will be a fine stadium, but more importantly, it is our stadium, our traditional home. Saltergate was falling down so they had to do something, but I reckon a proper Spireites misses the place and many would have preferred redevelopment rather than the Tesco Stadium.

Agree with that , our ground has historical significance & the Prozac is plastic & soulless , Saltergate had history since 1871 it should've been redeveloped

You're right Rob. I think that by the time JR has had his fill of MTFC Field Mill will be something to be proud of. Small steps n'all that.

Does it really matter if they don't go down ? It's what we do that matters. Their attendance below 5,000 today, still above us but falling.

I think we all know it doesn't matter as much as what we do etc, but for heavens sake lighten up a bit, with your voice of reason stuff. It's a bit of fun , banter, discussion Andy.
Enjoy it if you want or don't , but if people want to have the craic about them, let them, don't start questioning other people for a bit of fun.
