Just dropped off my kid at school and saw a bloke in a Spireite top arguing with a traffic warden over a ticket he's been given for parking on the yellow zig-zags. Typical Spireite - think the rules don't apply to them. Anyway, good start to the day.

I'm currently driving by the Prolapse to work and back every day - a thoroughly satisfying journey.

The walk back up Sheffield Rd after the game was bar far the most enjoyable moment of the season.

yes this is classic Mad Dog.

Maybe he's decided to speak directly to the fans rather than have the clown at Peak FM ask him ludicrous questions

Wow i thought someone from our side had sabotaged the website.

"Good evening.

Tonight we have signed a centre-back called Michael Nelson on a one-year contract.

Michael is very old with great experience and good knowledge. He is a leader of men and he knows how to win games.

He is as fit as a butcher's dog and he is a great man to work with.

Take care.

Martin"

I quite like those tbh. He's showing a sense of humour, but also quite a defiant 'I do things my way' attitude. I say I like it, well, I wouldn't want a clown like him at my club, but it's funny watching it from across the M1.

I see they are signing ex-staggies now.

Sam Wedgbury played 42 minutes on loan in first season in conference for us before being injured and having to return to Sheff Utd.

no lol. I gave the a lot of stick to the crowd down that side street though and got some pint glasses thrown at us. There was a bit of gesturing on both sides at the Donkey Derby, but I didn't see anyone get dropped.

He's just put out another update on their website for pre-season friendlies.

He's specifically said, "25th July, we will play and beat Wigan at home"

We’ve fallen a long way haven’t we.

It’ll really hit home the first game of the season to see our crowd lower than the one at Mansfield

I don’t too bad about it at the moment, I thought I’d be feeling it more, I’m actually quite looking forward to the new season

Love MA btw.

I'm sure you also love JL

Allen is a clown, entertaining, but a clown. Enjoy the Conference, you deserve it.
