Knowing that they could be relegated in May, I couldn't turn down the opportunity to turn up and dance on their turf at the Lionel Richie concert in June.
Yes, it may be putting money into their coffers, but I did not pay my money until the January transfer window was closed and they couldn't spend any of it on players.
If, and it's a big if, Chesterfield are relegated in May, I'm happy to do a sponsored Dance On Any Part of the Pitch You Like-a-thon for the whole concert.
As for tonight,
Not sure what the biggest sin is, supporting them financially or going to see Lionel. Either way, your board credibility has reduced considerably

Agent Jack Jester is doing a great job. His acting skills in his interviews are first class. He really looks like he is bothered. Taking over a raspberries team and making it worse is a masterclass.
I think he needs to tone down the results though, maybe get them a draw after every 4 or 5 losses, as some of the more intelligent mutton munchers are now questioning his ability, and we need him to see the job through.
Still, if he gets found out by the majority of the lamb lovers, we still have his boss secretly pulling the strings to oblivion in the background....head agent Ashley Carcass.

The only hope for them is that two clubs are in a worse state, Barnet are below them for a reason and Crewe are only 3 points above in an even worse run of form. Their upcoming fixtures look just as touch as Cheaterfield so it could be down to who can nick a point here and there, either way I think it’s going to be tight.

For context:
At this exact stage in the 2007/08 season when Stags went down to the Conference, we had 28 points and had played a game less than Spireites currently have.
They are on 27 points.

As for tonight,
You have been duped mate. As I have previously said it is rumoured to be a tribute act fronted by Chris Kamara. I think they are called the Lionel Twitchy Band. Appropriate really

Sheep've played 32 now and have 2 points less than us after 32 in 'that' season.

In fairness to Crewe they have had a tough run.
Carlisle
Wycombe
Swindon
Notts County
Yeovil (Draw)
Accy
To go in their current run:
Colchester
Exeter
Lincoln
Then hopefully they can pick up some points (would be nice if they can pick up points in those next 3 games though).

Taken from Bob Board.....
Well at least all 12 Mansfield fans will have something to tell their grandchildren about in finishing above us for once. Hell some of them have probably had kids and grandkids since they were last anywhere near better than us.
Some of those Mansfield grandparents weren't born themselves when they last finished above us.
I really hope the arrogant barstools go down n it's on their own turf the Stags hammer in the final nails to send them down.
Remember the 3 sided badges they had made....
Hopefully we can have one of a stag standing on a scarf with the date emblemed on of the day we sent them down.
A Stag for life not just through good times.... 4 4 2 living the dream.....

I had board credibility? Wow, thanks
If they get relegated it could be a great night. I might even wear my scarf if it's a little nippy

How many goals have their massive fan base chipped in with this season?

Don't worry, if Slack Jack's cover is blown, as it seems to have been, we have replacement operatives ready and briefed to take his place. Agents Saunders, Wilson and Caldwell all contributed to achieving the overall objective. If Agent Lester isn't the one to complete the mission, we have backups.
Agent Carlton. Are you ready ?

For the first time this season I actually think they wont cheat/fluke/pox their way out of the mire they are in.
Should they drop can we set up the Sandy Pate bar out for an all nighter?

Cant see Sir Jack Molester being in charge for much longer. The final nail may be when the sheep get hammered by the glorious stags at the prolapse and sent into the abyss. Even Bobs board members are starting to accept the inevitable and that Sir Jack has more chance of a decent pension at the end of his contract, not!!! Its so funny I cant get my breath.
