Mitch Rose. Total legend. How many late sickeners have they had ?
I’ve written us off for this year. My focus is now on them going down.

We are, despite a dogged determination to show it infrequently.
Is it 20 games without a win for them? Our form isn't great but that's some slide that takes serious arresting.
Grimsby's fanbase are resigned to relegation it seems, based on what I read online anyway. They're the lame bird that we have to humanely kill.
Do that and we stay up. Wish us luck.
So Chump, how did this go? Did the little bird fly away?

The one positive from today is the sheep lost their most important game in a zillion years to put them on the brink. Our season's in utter tatters now. It'd be just the MTFC way to go and gift them 3 points next week and give them renewed hope. That'd just about cap off the most appalling end to a season since 07/08.
C'mon you muppets, we've lost the autos, the PO's are looking a fast fading dream. All I ask for now is one win and that must be next Saturday. If you cluck that up n all then you should all get new clubs in close season.

We must put in a bid for Dennis when they drop, they will accept anything for him.
Even if they beat us, they won't get enough points from their last games. They have games in hand, but playing Saturday Tuesday for the majority of the end of the season won't help them. I think they are down now.

14/15 end of season was appalling. Lost 9 out of last 10. If Flitcroft matches three seasons ago then he is toast. I thought we battled well second half today, showed some balls, worked hard and should have salvaged a draw. Poor quality and decision making cost us an equiliser and with a little luck we could have made the headlines tonight.

It'll give me greater solace in close season if we have hammered a massive nail in their non league coffin rather than relying on other clubs to do all the carpentry while keep hitting our own thumb with the hammer.

I agree. The only crumb of comfort now in our rapidly declining season is to beat these guys. Surely we can manage that.

When it's war and they've kicked us in the nuts time and time again the last thing we should be doing is trying to be nice to them.
I want them to suffer, and anything any 'normal' Stags fan can do to turn the screw of hurt should be applauded.
You go on Wolfie and dab their tears and cuddle them if you want, but me, every fibre of my body will do everything I can to increase their suffering.

I agree totally Tater.
When they sang the name of the man that was destroying my club - I knew right then I'd hate them always. It's a strong word... but they really are butt ugly chavs that look like something from 'The Hills Have Eyes' and they deserve everything they get. Karma is beautiful

If they win 50% of their remaining games it still leaves Grimsby FGR n Morecambe just to win one out of their remaining games to give them more than Chesterfield 43 points they would have....

The fans are up for it. BUT are the players and manager.
The manager appears to be hopelessly out of his depth and quite clueless, the players seemingly can't be bothered.
As it is, and I hate saying it, we'll lose to them, we need some leadership both on and off the field.
