When registering you are required to use valid details. Fake email address will result in the account being deleted.

Usernames deemed inappropriate will not be allowed access.

Multiple usernames for a single user will be removed.

Users must not take the real names of others persons still alive, as this could be classed as impersonation. For example, taking the name of a current or former Stags player is not allowed. However a username that is clearly not intended to be used as impersonation, such as "Jimmy McCaffrey on the wing", would be acceptable.

No libellous statements or comments - you're entitled to express your opinion but not to phrase opinions as facts. A libelous statement is one which is UNTRUE and causes DAMAGE.

No swearing. This includes masking of letters with other letters and/or ASCII characters. This also includes quotes from other sources, intent and context. Swearing is swearing at the end of the day and such will not be tolerated. The English language has more than enough words to cover any swear words.

No abuse or malicious name calling.

No racist remarks of any kind.

No text speak. This is an English language board, Text speak & gibberish are not a sub-set of the English language.

No fully capitalised messages. On the internet a post which is completely made up of capital letters is deemed shouting and bad 'netiquette'. Please use the correct case in your posts.

Please try to keep your posts informative, on topic and/or relevant. To reply with an emoticon or "I agree" or "good post" are not valid replies at all. Say why you agree and add your thoughts to the discussion.

No list threads. The forum is about discussion and not a glorified list of likes, dislikes, holidays taken, favourite ice cream etc.

No pictures in messages, signatures or avatars apart from the standard emoticons. If your post requires an image then just supply the link in the message.

No overuse of Emoticons. A simple smilie here and there is more than enough. You do not need to post the entire gallery and consider it an adequate response to a post.

No threatening remarks towards anybody be they other posters, the Admin/Moderators or other people.

No harassing or unwanted attention towards other users. The forums are not a dating agency or a place to pick up the opposite sex. Please do not pester people on the forums and/or PMs.

No unnecessary flirting, smut or innuendoes.

No images in signatures.

No glorification of football hooliganism and/or violence.

Links to other sites must, if appropriate, carry a warning.

If you copy & paste articles from other web-sites or message boards etc. then please cite your source.

For long URLs please use a service such as http://www.tinyurl.com or the url tags so as to preserve the forum width. If you're unsure how to do this then ask.

Please check other threads before you start a new one with the same theme - it's common courtesy. Duplicate threads will be locked and/or moved/deleted.

Only football threads in the Main Discussion Forum please (Unless cleared with the Admin). Non-football threads will be moved to Non-Football Chat or relevant forums.

The football threads should be kept topical and/or relevant.

There is no need to quote all the replies in the thread just to make your point. Quote just the relevant section.

On matchdays there will be one thread designated for discussing the match as it progresses. Make sure you use this thread for latest scores, sending offs etc.

Please keep personal chat with other users to the Private Message. Any personal chat will be removed and the posters will receive a warning.

No spamming, trolling or flame-baiting of any kind.

No editing of moderator comments from posts advising of rules contravened etc.

Posts of similar kind to be kept to one thread e.g. jokes in the Non-Football Chat etc.

Please observe the same courtesies in all the forums.

The decision of the Site Staff is final. Dialogue regarding any action taken may not be entered into after any reason(s) has been given. The Site Staff are not obliged to give a reason for any decision made. Some deletions and/or bans are obvious.

Site staff reserve the right to remove posts which they feel inappropriate without warning or reason.

These rules will be reviewed and if necessary revised at intervals without prior notification. It is up to each poster to make sure they are familiar with the above prior to posting.
