St. John’s, Antigua - The Young Bennaboys of Antigua and Barbuda created history as they top Group A in the Caribbean Football Union’s Under 20 Championship undefeated. The result has also secured historic qualification for the 2017 CONCACAF Men’s Under 20 Championship in Costa Rica.

The Bennaboys opened the scoring in the first minute of play through Mansfield Town Winger Zayn Hakeem. Hakeem would double his tally shortly after in the 11th minute making it 2 - 0 in favour of Antigua and Barbuda. Skipper Javorn Stevens would add a third taking his Qualifying Tally to six goals after scoring in the 40th minute of play.

The second half would was a different story as Dennie Henry received a second yellow taking his team down to 10 men. Bermuda would pull another goal back in the 53rd minute through Mazhyze Burchall.

Another scare would come in the 83rd minute when Burchall doubled his tally making it 3 - 2. But the Young Bennaboys held on for victory after 90 minutes topping Group A and qualifying for the final phase of competition.
