Stags arrange friendly against Matlock for tomorrow
mansfieldtown.net, 12th July 2016

A first team friendly against Matlock Town will take place tomorrow evening (7.30pm Wednesday 12 July) and will be played at Rossington Main FC's home ground in South Yorkshire.

The fixture between the two clubs was arranged this morning and we can confirm that the ground will be open to the general public. Admission prices are: £6 adults, £3 concessions.

The trialist from Saturday may or may not get another run out against Matlock.

Murray on the game against Matlock tomorrow: "It was just something that popped up. Matlock fancied a game and we looked at our minute-bank and we felt that we might need the odd one or two more friendlies put in there. It's an extended training session really against a team that don't know what you're doing. Sometimes when you have your in-house stuff, everybody knows what you're doing, so it defeats the object. It'll get the lads a bit more game time, and we can work on a couple more bits."
