Meanwhile more on Lever:
mansfieldtown.net confirms that Mark Lever has left the club on a free transfer to join Ilkeston Town.
Lever has been offered an 18 month contract at the Doc Martin League club and told the official web site that he is happy to take on this new job: “When you get to my age it doesn't really matter where you play, I could have gone to Kidderminster, but I have just settled in the Mansfield area and Ilkeston is a lot handier so seems the best choice.”
Lever had his contract paid up prior to his departure yesterday afternoon.
