Assistant manager John Gannon told CHAD: "Chances went begging and we battered them second half, but sometimes you have games like that and you have to take a point and move on.
"We were very pleased with the way the lads played and no one could say they didn't give their all.
"We just needed that vital touch in front of goal.
"Wycome defended so deep they were on top of their keeper at times. Our keeper had frostbite by the end but we couldn't get the goal we needed."

Lawrie Sanchez told BBC Three Counties that he felt a draw was a fair result. He admitted that his team was under the cosh in the second half, but felt that his team defended well.
Sanchez paid credit to the Field Mill groundstaff for getting the game on.
Sanchez then told http://www.wycombewanderers.co.uk
“I was very pleased with the way the team performed today. We defended exceptionally well and the midfield worked hard throughout this was always going to be a tough fixture cause of where Mansfield are in the table. We had chances in the first half to win the game but fair play to Stuart Roberts he did the main thing and got into the position and it was just unfortunate that their goalkeeper managed to throw out a leg and beat the ball away.”
