Paul Cox told StagsPlayer: "The boys are in a bit of a mode at the moment so we wanted the game to be on. The pitch was the worst I've seen it in the 2.5 years I've been here. Tonight’s Sky Bet League Two match against Bury has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Relentless rain throughout the morning has caused flooding in several areas of the pitch and a local referee, who visited One Call Stadium earlier than planned to inspect the surface, has deemed it unfit for action.

A new date for the fixture will be announced in due course.
