The Mansfield Town player-manager Keith Curle says a "return to basics" has been responsible for the clubs upturn in form and fortune since he took over. Curle's only taken charge of two league games since replacing Stuart Watkiss, and the Stags have taken six points out of six, as well as keeping two clean sheets. The run has taken them to within 2 points of safety at the foot of the second division table, but Curle insists he hasn't waved a magic wand over Field Mill.
